Assev runs automated algorithms that day-trade gold (XAUUSD). Every position closes before the trading day ends, so nothing is held overnight, and no more than one or two bots run at the same time. All algorithms are switched off during red-folder (high-impact) news. Risk is capped per bot: the Assev I (Standard) account risks up to 5% of equity per bot, and the larger Assev II (Aggressive) account up to 7.5%. The manager intervenes by hand only when a daily-drawdown guardrail is hit, flagged by alerts on executions, exits, and other events, or ahead of major expected economic events. Across roughly 2.5 years of running this approach, Assev Capital reports the guardrail has triggered five times, with recovery taking three to six weeks each time; those are the manager's own figures from before the StoicFX accounts began. On StoicFX the strategy has run on two accounts since April 2026: Assev I at a 1:1 preset and Assev II at 1.5×. Copy trading opens through the StoicFX broker portal when the strategy goes live, with both presets and an adjustable multiplier you set in your own trading account.
