Copy trading FAQ

Is StoicFX a prop firm or a copy-trading service?

StoicFX is a FSCA-regulated forex and CFD broker (FSP 53079). Copy trading runs inside your own funded StoicFX account. There is no challenge to pass and no profit split with a prop firm, and your capital stays in your own account.

How does copy trading work on StoicFX?

You pick a strategy manager, set a multiplier that controls your position sizes relative to theirs, and their trades copy into your own MT5 account automatically. You can change your multiplier or stop copying at any time from the portal.

How is copy trading different from a signals service?

With a signals service you get alerts and place each trade yourself. Copy trading places them for you: once you're set up, the manager's trades mirror into your account without you doing anything.

Do I need an existing StoicFX account to copy a strategy?

No. If you are already a client, log in and the strategy binds to your account. If you are new, register a copier account on a live account and bind the strategy in the same step.

Can I control how much I risk?

Yes. Your multiplier scales the manager's position sizes to your account, so what you make or lose tracks the multiplier you set. Copy trading carries risk and you can lose the money you put in.

New to the model? Broker vs prop firm · A prop-firm alternative

StoicFX (FSP 53079) is the licensed financial services provider. Strategy managers trade under StoicFX's authorisation and are not separately regulated. Copy trading carries risk: your returns depend on the multiplier you set and you can lose the capital you invest. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
